A Beautiful Pasadena City Hall Engagement Session | From Proposal to Engagement Photos
There is something incredibly special about photographing couples more than once. A few months ago, I had the honor of capturing this couple's surprise proposal, and seeing them return for their engagement session truly meant so much to me. When couples choose to come back, it's one of the biggest compliments I can receive as a photographer—it tells me they enjoyed the experience and trust me to capture another chapter of their story.
For their engagement session, we met at one of my absolute favorite locations in Southern California: Pasadena City Hall. At this point, it's officially my number one location for engagement photos. The stunning architecture, elegant archways, romantic courtyards, and soft natural light create the perfect backdrop for timeless, sophisticated images.
One of the reasons I love Pasadena City Hall so much is its versatility. Every corner offers a different look, making it feel like several locations in one. Whether we're capturing intimate moments beneath the arches, walking through the courtyard, or using the beautiful staircases, every session feels unique.
Watching this couple together again was such a joy. They were relaxed, comfortable, and simply enjoyed being with each other. Having already shared the unforgettable experience of their proposal, this session felt even more natural, allowing us to create genuine moments that truly reflect their relationship.
