Are there any locations we could try that aren't beach-themed?

Hey! I'm Dmitrii, a photographer in Southern California. I love beach shoots, but I know there's a lot more out there besides just the beach. Today, I want to share some cool non-beach locations where I've done photoshoots. Let's check them out!

Riley Wilderness Park

Riley Wilderness Park in Orange County is a hidden gem for photoshoots. With rolling hills, oak trees, and open spaces, it’s perfect for capturing that natural, rustic vibe. The park’s less crowded, so you can really take your time and get creative. It’s a great spot for portraits, couples, or family shoots with a peaceful backdrop.

Jeffrey Trail

Jeffrey Trail in Irvine is a great spot for a photoshoot, especially if you’re looking for a blend of nature and urban vibes. The trail is lined with beautiful eucalyptus trees, creating a cool, shaded pathway that looks amazing in photos. The mix of greenery and well-paved paths offers a clean, modern look while still feeling natural.

It's a versatile location—perfect for portraits, lifestyle shoots, or even fitness photography. Plus, the trail's accessibility and well-maintained surroundings make it easy to navigate and find the perfect spot for your shots.

It’s got a mix of open grassy areas, trees, and little pathways that give you a lot of variety in your shots. The park has a laid-back, natural vibe that works well for everything from portraits to family sessions. Plus, there’s plenty of space, so you won’t feel crowded while shooting.

Big Bear Lake

Big Bear Lake is a fantastic spot for a photoshoot, especially if you're looking for a change of scenery. It’s a bit of a drive, but it’s worth it for the stunning backdrop. You can capture beautiful snow scenes in winter or vibrant fall colors when the leaves change. The tranquil lake and surrounding mountains provide a serene, picturesque setting that's perfect for creating standout shots.

Located in a green park at the top, it offers sweeping views and a lush, elevated setting. The park's well-maintained grounds and panoramic vistas provide a fantastic backdrop without the typical beach scene. It's perfect for capturing scenic shots and enjoying a bit of tranquility away from the coast.
