A Magical and Intimate Proposal at Lotusland – Agustin & Gloria


Some proposals feel like scenes from a fairytale — and Agustin’s surprise for Gloria was exactly that. Tucked away in one of the most enchanting gardens in California, Agustin chose Lotusland in Santa Barbara for the moment he would ask the most important question of his life. The choice was perfect: elegant, peaceful, and completely private.


Even in the middle of the afternoon, Lotusland felt calm and secluded. Surrounded by vibrant plants, tall palms, and the unique design of the gardens, it was as if time slowed down just for them. Agustin led Gloria into a quiet hidden area — a space where they could enjoy the moment without anyone around.


And in that peaceful silence, he dropped to one knee.


Gloria’s reaction was pure emotion: surprise, joy, laughter, and tears all at once. With no crowds and no distractions, the moment felt real and intimate, just the way it should be.


After she said “YES!”, we explored the gardens for beautiful portraits. The bold greenery and unique textures of Lotusland created stunning, artistic backdrops for their photos. Every turn felt like a new scene — colorful, dramatic, and full of life.


Agustin and Gloria’s proposal is a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful moments are the quiet ones — shared between two people in a place that feels like it belongs only to them.
