Descanso Gardens Proposal Photographer | Los Angeles


Planning a romantic proposal in Los Angeles? Descanso Gardens is one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions and surprise proposals.


I recently photographed a beautiful proposal at Descanso Gardens at 6 PM, and the evening light was absolutely amazing. The soft, warm light created a romantic look throughout the garden and made the proposal photos feel natural and timeless.

Why I Recommend Descanso Gardens for Proposals


One of the biggest advantages of Descanso Gardens is the variety of locations. You can photograph the actual proposal in one beautiful spot and then explore different areas of the gardens afterward for engagement-style portraits.


There are lush gardens, flowers, pathways, greenery, and more intimate areas, giving you plenty of variety without needing to drive to multiple locations.


For this proposal, the 6 PM light was beautiful, creating soft highlights and a warm glow throughout the session.

Photography Permit


Professional photography at Descanso Gardens requires a permit. For this session, the permit fee was $300.
