A Beautiful September Evening at Greystone Mansion | Beverly Hills Photography


There’s something incredibly special about photographing couples at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. The architecture, gardens, stone pathways, and quiet corners of the estate create an elegant backdrop without taking attention away from the people in front of my camera.


On September 2, 2026, I photographed another beautiful session at Greystone Mansion, beginning at 4:00 PM. And the light could not have been better.


One of the things I love about late-afternoon sessions at Greystone is how much shade you can find throughout the property. Instead of fighting with harsh direct sunlight, we were able to move through beautifully shaded areas and work with soft, natural light that created flattering skin tones and a clean, refined look.


The combination of the mansion's classic architecture, lush gardens, and soft September light made the entire session feel effortless.

Why I Love Photographing at Greystone Mansion


Greystone Mansion is one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions, anniversary portraits, and elegant couple photography in Los Angeles.


The location offers so much variety within one session — grand architectural details, garden paths, greenery, stone textures, and intimate areas that allow the photographs to feel both editorial and personal.


For me, the goal isn't simply to photograph a beautiful location. It's to use the location and the available light to tell the story of the couple.


My photography style is refined, natural, and true to color. I love combining candid moments with gentle direction and intentional posing, while allowing the couple's personalities and connection to remain the focus.

The Perfect Time for Photos at Greystone Mansion


For sessions at Greystone Mansion, I especially love photographing in the afternoon and closer to sunset.


Our September 2 session started at 4:00 PM, and the abundance of shade gave us beautiful, soft light throughout the property. This is one of the reasons I always pay close attention to the time of day when planning a session.


Good light can completely change the feeling of an image.


Rather than relying on heavy editing or dramatic effects, I prefer to work with the natural environment and create photographs that feel bright, polished, and authentic.
