A couple of days ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Lexie and Sean at the stunning Windansea Beach in San Diego. , I had the pleasure of photographing Lexie and Sean at the stunning Windansea Beach in San Diego. Although it was a two-hour drive from my home in Long Beach, California, I was genuinely excited to explore this beautiful location for the first time—and it didn’t disappoint.


From the moment I arrived, I was taken by how breathtaking the scenery was. The sky was painted with soft tones and subtle light, and the ocean shimmered in that perfect, calm way that makes you stop and just take it all in. It set the perfect tone for a romantic, heartfelt shoot.


Lexie and Sean were effortless in front of the camera—playful, connected, and full of genuine emotion. I love capturing those quiet, real moments between couples, and this session had plenty of them. Their energy matched the mood of the beach that day—calm, romantic, and timeless.

As always, I kept the colors true to life. While some styles rely on heavy edits, my refined and classic airy approach embraces natural light and authentic tones. I believe there's something incredibly powerful in letting the colors speak for themselves—subtle, soft, and honest.


Exploring a new location like Windansea reminded me how refreshing it is to step outside of routine and chase new light. I’m so grateful Lexie and Sean trusted me with their story and gave me a reason to discover this hidden gem on the San Diego coast.
