Who says you need a sunset for the perfect proposal? This beautiful daytime proposal at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills proves that the location is just as stunning during the day. With its historic architecture, elegant gardens, and shaded walkways, Greystone offers one of the most romantic proposal settings in Los Angeles.


After the proposal, we explored the grounds for a relaxed engagement session, taking advantage of the mansion's beautiful scenery and variety of backdrops.

Greystone Mansion Photography Permit


A photography permit is required for all professional proposal and engagement sessions at Greystone Mansion.

Reservations open exactly 14 days before your session date at 9:00 AM and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, submit the online permit request form at 9:00 AM on your eligibility date. If your requested time is available, you'll receive an application and payment instructions. Your reservation is not confirmed until the permit has been issued.


Current permit fees are $413 per hour for non-Beverly Hills residents and $330 per hour for Beverly Hills residents. Permits are available between 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM, for one- or two-hour sessions, and are limited to six people total, including the photographer. Drones, balloons, rose petals, chairs, and other props are not permitted.
